Best Western Pony Soldier Inn - Airport

Rooms and facility is quite clean. Quick location to airport, and affordable. Pool and hot tub are quite decent as well. The only downside to location, is the rather sketchy foot traffic. The bright lighting on the outside of the building helps with defmterring vehicle theft, but watch your back while outside alone.

Comfortable beds. I actually got a good nights sleep. Clean. Nice gym, sauna and jacuzzi. Cheap rates. Decent breakfast. Parking lot gets full at night. Plenty of food options in walking distance. Our room didn't have a good view but didn't mind since everything else was great.

I usually stay at the Pony Soldier at least a couple of days on my trips to Portland. I find it convenient, reasonably priced and clean. I read a few negative comments on here. I can't speak for those people but I can say I've never had a bad experience here other than during a severe windstorm once but I surely can't hold the staff accountable for an act of nature. I've always had clean, well kept rooms. The staff has always been courteous and helpful. Like I say I can't speak for others but my experiences here have all been positive.

Great location for our needs. The entire staff was friendly and helpful. We didn't get any names, but the ladies that prepared and took care of the breakfast area were great. Also, the lady in the afternoon/evening front desk was excellent. We will definitely stay here again. Rooms clean and quiet.

I chose this location because of airport shuttle service and the restaurant next to it. A grocery store and Dollar Tree are also close by. Breakfast was good, although I would add more fruit and include green tea. A receptionist upgraded my room due to my late pick up from the airport. Service was friendly and the accommodations were kept clean and attractive.

This was our first stay here. The positives were the affordable price, complimentary breakfast, and very comfortable mattresses and pillows. On the downside, the location is not ideal, with many homeless people nearby, and the close proximity to the rail line makes it noisy at times.

Very kind staff, even on Christmas Day. Great breakfast. Quiet rooms. We'll stocked amenities in the room like coffee and shower gels. Will stay again. 9 minutes from Airport.
